The Holster Picks were designed to solve that one problem no one has had a solution for, till now. Use the Holster Picks to remove or install your tactical gear that uses T-Posts, Binding Posts or Chicago Posts depending on what you call them.
The Holster Picks come with 3 tools in a set and include the following:
- Flat Pick – this tool will help you get into those tight flat spots to gain leverage to loosen or tighten your equipment.
- 90° Pick – this tool will help give you leverage inside the holsters & EDC equipment to loosen or tighten your equipment.
- 90° Long Pick – this tool will help give you leverage inside deep spots of holsters & EDC equipment to loosen or tighten your equipment.

Great Company, but a really bad product. I have purchased from GWS multiple times, and I really like their products (everything on my belt is mounted with their Adapt Micros) but the set of picks I got was terrible. I was really excited for these, as it is a neat “keychain” solution to a common problem … but these are really bad quality. The 90* bend was at least 100* (overbent), which made it really difficult to use. The cut quality, though, is so bad that I can’t tell if this is the world’s worst laser cutter or the world’s second worst plasma cutter. The straight pick had at least a 25* bevel on the ends making it completely unable to grab the slots on posts and completely unusable, while every other surface has at least 10* bevels. The edges didn’t have the dross removed, either. The holes for the keychain cable were blown out, one nearly severed. With over 20 years of metal fab under by belt, I would be embarassed to send these out the door with my name on them. I get these are manufactured for a price point, but $20 for an unusable product is ridiculous.
I just spent 45 minutes in the garage cleaning these up with my own files and bending them back to 90* in my vise so they are usable. My recommendations: Turn the cutting speed down at least 50% so the cut quality isnt terrible, make the keychain hole a circle so the square corners dont blow out with the momentum shift while changing direction, tumble the parts after cutting with a heavy cut media to remove the dross.
Im giving one star because the heatshrink tube with glue on the handle and the swaged cable to keep them together is a decent touch.

I am a longtime customer of Guardian Warrior Solutions and have found each of their products to be well thought out, durable and of good value.
I was recently working on adjusting tension on an OWB double 9mm magazine holder and stumbled on a use for the Holster Picks that I had not seen in any previous GWS Instagram or YouTube posts.
My issue was that the retention in the center of the double mag holder was too tight, it was Kydex to Kydex. I decided to add two rubber squish washers to reduce the retention. I was just not sure how I was going to manipulate the washers into place. I happened to have my Holster Picks out and saw that the “Flat Pick” was the correct diameter to fit the washer. I started the first washer from the top and easily maneuvered it in place at the bottom hole. This was the only way I could get the washer in place without completely disassembling the entire mag holder. Once the bottom washer was in place maneuvering the top washer was much simpler as it was a much shorter push.
I thought I would share this with you and perhaps you would be interested in sharing it with other users.
Today I remembered having a conversation with Preston a couple of years ago when I was struggling to tighten the mounting hardware for a dozen mag pouches I purchased from Dan at Dynamic Principles using the GWS Adapt 1 Molle adaptors, there simply wasn’t a tool available to hold the nut in place inside the pouch behind the Esstac KYWI inserts. Preston hinted that he was painfully aware of my plight and that he was working to develop a solution.
